 Sequence Of Operation For Movement Sensors:

  • When a closed loop is moved in a magnetic field, an induced e.m.f. is set up.
  • The e.m.f. induced could be recorded and the breathing pattern of the patients can be monitored.
  • This principle is used in many movement sensors particularly for small movement. E.g. The movement sensor is used in hospitals to monitor the breathing of patients.
  • This is especially useful in the intensive care unit (ICU).
